It’s a month left before we reach the WWE’s biggest annual pay per view. We’ve passed the last PPV before the big one which was Fastlane and it was pretty decent in my opinion. We didn’t want Roman to win as number one contender but deep inside we knew it was going to happen. So far we have Charlotte, Sasha Banks, and Becky Lynch in a triple threat match for the Diva’s Championship, which is the only thing going on in the Diva’s division aside for the “Diva’s Revolution”. I actually liked that it turned into a triple threat match. It makes a predictable Charlotte match a little bit more interesting.
Lesnar’s back again this year to fight the Lunatic “Fridge” Dean Ambrose after getting robbed for the title last year. For this I fight I was thinking of Kevin Owens vs Brock. I know it’s asking for a lot but he’s been stuck with the mid-card status and has been fighting for the IC title for a while now- not that the title is abject. But other than that, this is a match I’m looking for. Hopefully it doesn’t look like CM Punk vs Lesnar during Summerslam 2013. Oh wait, I can’t mention Punk either can I?
Recently Shane O Mac finally returns after a multiple year hiatus and gets booked a match against the Undertaker. What? Does that makes sense? I know we want to see a good match after his return but does it have to be against the Undertaker? When you think of the Authority, do you think of the Undertaker? Not really, at least to me. This one’s really going to confuse me. We are supposed to be supporting Shane here but then it’s against the Undertaker. So are they going to let Shane as the babyface win Raw or let Undertaker go back on his winning streak? Well it is a Hell in a Cell match so we can maybe expect someone interrupting the match.
Lastly, our last confirmed match so far is Roman vs Triple H. I don’t have much to say about this one other than it being predictable. As I said during Fastlane, we knew Roman was going to get put over by WWE and get his opportunity for the WWE WHC. We know this might happen again for Wrestlemania but to me it feels like if they had put over Dean instead, it wouldn’t make as much sense as Roman. Roman has been going against the Authority for a while now so in my opinion, this aversion to this matchup is how we look at Roman and our dislike of his character. Is this better than Triple H vs Cena? Only difference is, one of them did it 15 times.
