By- Marquez Cruz March Madness season is approaching and a few young kids are making a name for themselves. Senior, Buddy Hield from Oklahoma University has been on an absolute tear this season averaging 25.8 points per game with 5.7 rebounds as well as 2 assists. He has led Oklahoma to the number one spot in the country and a top team to look out for the this year's NCAA tournament. Another player who has erupted this year has been Grayson Allen from Duke University. Although Duke has not been playing as good as they have in the past, Grayson Allen has been keeping up from where he left off from last years championship game. He currently averages 20.6 points with 4.8 rebounds per game to go along with his 3.7 assists. Another big face to keep an eye on is sophomore, Melo Trimble, star guard from Maryland. Trimble averages nearly 15 points, 5 assists and is leading Maryland to a historic season as they are currently 20-3 and are the 4th best team in the country. Another player to look out for is 6’9 senior from Iowa who goes by the name of Jarrod Uthoff. He currently averages 18 points with 6 rebounds and is leading Iowa to a ranked 5th best team in the country. There are many big faces to continue to look for as we get closer to the tournament and who knows, a star is always born once March Madness rolls around. Who will you be voting for?
